Lake Placid Lodge

Thirty rooms and cabins on the shore of Lake Placid, including 17 lakeside cabins from the 1920s that survived the 2005 fire that destroyed the original main lodge. The rebuilt lodge and the cabins have twig furniture, bark siding and stone fireplaces in the Adirondack Arts and Crafts style. Kayaks, paddleboards and canoes are available at the waterfront. It is a Relais & Châteaux member and part of the Opal Collection.
