Elk Lake Lodge

Eight cottages and a renovated main lodge on 600-acre Elk Lake, inside a 12,000-acre private wilderness preserve in the High Peaks protected by a New York State conservation easement. The public is not allowed into the preserve, so the 40 miles of hiking trails are for guests only, along with boating and fishing on Elk Lake and 200-acre Clear Pond. All meals are included. Cottages sleep two to twelve, and most have kitchens and fireplaces.
