Where to Stay in Livingston Manor & Roscoe

The Beaverkill and the Willowemoc meet at the Junction Pool in Roscoe, the water that drew some of the first American fly fishers. For a fishing trip, this is the place to stay. Livingston Manor, about 8 miles east on Route 17, has the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum, Upward Brewing's taproom on its 120-acre farm, Main Street Farm and other shops and restaurants, alongside the working farms and hardware stores. Roscoe is smaller. The Roscoe Diner has fed travelers on Old Route 17 since 1969, Dette Trout Flies has tied flies here since 1928, and Do Good Spirits and the Roscoe Beer Company are nearby. The DeBruce has 12 rooms above the Willowemoc Valley and a restaurant that was a 2024 James Beard semifinalist, and Beaverkill Valley Inn, built in 1893, has a full meal plan.
