    Where to Stay in Killington

Killington bills itself as the largest ski resort in the East, and its season is one of the longest, often running from November into May. The Killington Road access road is lined with bars, restaurants and rental shops for several miles. Two properties offer different stays. Killington Grand Resort Hotel is ski-in/ski-out, connected to the Snowshed base by a bridge, with rooms up to 3-bedroom suites and a heated outdoor saltwater pool. The Inn at Long Trail, built in 1938 on Route 4 where the Long Trail and the Appalachian Trail cross the road, has McGrath's Irish Pub in the basement and has been run by the McGrath family since 1977.
