The Inn at Long Trail

An inn on Route 4 in Killington, built in 1938 as the Deer Leap Chalet, which it describes as the first lodge in Vermont built for skiers. It sits where the Appalachian Trail and the Long Trail cross the road, and hikers pass through the property. McGrath's Irish Pub is in the basement; the McGrath family has owned the inn since 1977.
