A 29-room country inn on 65 acres in the Easton Valley, taking guests since 1863. The white clapboard building was rebuilt in the 1930s after a fire. It faces Mount Lafayette, Franconia Notch and the Kinsman Range. Summer brings horseback riding on the property and glider rides from the on-site soaring port; winter brings 40 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails. There is a pub, a dining room, two porches and a library.
